The UAE issued the Economic Substance Regulations in 2019 and followed by an updated guidance on relevant activities by the Ministry of Finance to help businesses to demonstrate economic presence in the UAE.

Noff is a Senior Associate in the Corporate Structuring Department and has over seven years of corporate structuring experience, working on a variety of corporate and advisory matters for both national and multinational clients with particular expertise in dealing with the Dubai International Financial Centre.
Shiraz Khan

Shiraz is a UK qualified lawyer with over 21 years of international tax experience.
Prior to joining Al Tamimi, he was the global head of tax at a leading multinational
where he was responsible for the tax affairs in over 100 countries. He has also
worked for a top international law firm in the UK and 4 big firms in both the UK and
the Middle East.
