About the Event
The UAE issued the Federal Decree-Law No. (47) of 2022 on the Taxation of Corporations and Businesses. The law is a major development for all businesses operating in the UAE.
This workshop will highlight the legislative basis of corporate tax and the implications of the law’s implementation on businesses in the UAE.

Camiel has more than 30 years of experience advising clients on Corporate Tax matters and international tax structuring projects in Western/Central Europe. He specialised in Corporate
Income Tax Advisory in the M&A and Financial Institutions space, and was advisor to a variety of global organisations as well as large family-owned businesses. He has advised on tax aspects
of a multitude of cross border deals, re-organisations, and tax structuring and modelling
projects. Camiel advised the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance (MoF) on revising the Corporate Income Tax Act (through the Good Governance Fund Program of the Department for International Development in the UK) from 2015 to 2018.

Charles has been providing tax advisory services for over 18 years, and during his career has worked in a number of countries across Europe, America and Asia. He specialises in corporate
and international tax advisory, including transfer pricing advice. Charles’ past projects have included major acquisitions, disposals, mergers, group restructuring, group rationalisation, and
financing structures. He also specialises in aligning business and tax strategy to design and implement optimised operating models.
