Overview
Dubai International Chamber Office – Azerbaijan has been regularly participating in regional trade and investment platforms, promoting Dubai and identifying bilateral business and economic opportunities.
The mandate of the office in Azerbaijan is to gather market information and to facilitate opportunities between Dubai and Eurasia (Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan). To do this, we offer a variety of services that help to promote and represent Dubai in Eurasia, as well as attract promising Eurasian companies to Dubai. Invest in Dubai - Business Luncheon in Baku, Azerbaijan
Co-organized with the UAE Embassy in Baku, the event hosted C-level executives from leading banking and insurance organizations to promote real estate investment opportunities in Dubai and UAE golden visa schemes.
UAE National Day Reception by the UAE Embassy in Baku
Dubai Chambers co-sponsored the traditional annual reception hosting more than 800 public, private, and media representatives in Azerbaijan.
Second session of the Joint Economic Committee between the UAE and the Kyrgyz Republic
Mr. Omar Khan, Executive Director – International Offices, delivered a presentation on “Trade and Investment Synergies with Kyrgyzstan”
Uzbekistan Trade Finance Conference

Russia and Middle East: partnership perspectives for Russian companies
Upon invitation from the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (Russia), Chief Representative Sanan Nasibli presented Dubai’s economic outlook and bilateral opportunities to a virtual audience of 112 Russian companies and entrepreneurs.

Azerbaijan Office facilitated B2B meetings and G2G discussions with Eurasian exhibitors and national delegation heads from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.
Webinar: UAE and Eurasia Digital Talent Synergies
Co-organized with the DMCC, the webinar explored Dubai’s enhanced digital business infrastructure and strategies that supports the digital economy, as well as attractive policies and business opportunities for tech talent.

Chief Representative Sanan Nasibli delivered a pre-recorded video presentation about Target market overview: challenges and opportunities in Dubai. Virtual seminar focused on current trends, challenges, as well as post-Covid opportunities in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Uzbekistan for KMPG Kazakhstan stakeholders.

Upon invitation from Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Hassan Al Hashemi, Vice-president of Dubai Chambers, presented an overview of trade and economic relations between UAE and Russia.

A bilateral business event dedicated to discussing public and private sector innovation strategies in the post-Covid era, as well as Dubai’s role as a prominent global hub for SMEs.

IO Azerbaijan team facilitated b2b interactions for exhibiting and visiting Eurasian delegations at Gulfood, including site visits to Carrefour, Barakat Group, and InstaShop.
International food trade with Russia: the experience of the EXPO 2020 participant countries
Chief Representative Sanan Nasibli moderated a panel discussion on the experience of Expo 2020 participating countries in facilitating food trade with the UAE and Russia.
III Kyiv Summit of Partner Chambers
Chief Representative Sanan Nasibli spoke at the subject summit of 13 international chambers, founders of the Kyiv Club, held virtually this year. Mr. Nasibli presented Dubai Chamber’s latest digital transformation journey and post-Covid strategies.
Food Ecommerce Awareness Webinar with InstaShop
Together with InstaShop, the leading online marketplace in the Middle East, Dubai Chamber International Office – Azerbaijan organized a food e-commerce awareness webinar for all International Offices agribusiness stakeholders, including manufacturers, traders, export promotion agencies, trade offices, and others. Speakers and participants discussed latest food ecommerce trends and potential marketing and distributions strategies.
Coffee Business Discussions with DMCC Coffee Center
The closed virtual event brought together select Azerbaijani coffee importers and DMCC Coffee Centre for a discussion of the global coffee business dynamics and synergies between Dubai’s growing coffee trade and Azerbaijan’s budding specialty and private label coffee industry.
UAE – Russia Food Trade Webinar
International Office in Azerbaijan, jointly with Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organized a business intelligence webinar entitled “Russia – UAE Food Trade Opportunities and Success Stories”. Participants, which included Russian and Emirati food manufacturers and traders, public stakeholders, and export promotion agencies, discussed bilateral food security, food market trends, opportunities for supplier diversification, and government measures of food trade support implemented in both countries.
Trends and Opportunities in UAE Food and Beverages Market to Altai Exporters (Russia)
Mr. Sanan Nasibli, Chief Representative of Dubai Chamber International Office Azerbaijan, made a presentation on “Trends and Opportunities in the UAE Food and Beverage Market” to Altai food manufacturers and exporters in the virtual event organized by Altai Regional Government (Russia).
Webinar “Russia – UAE Food Trade in Post-Covid-19 Era”
Co-organized with Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with support from the Russian Food House in Dubai, the webinar brought together 131 UAE and Russian stakeholders to discuss bilateral food security, food market trends, opportunities of supplier diversification, and governmental measures of food trade support implemented in both countries.
Gulfood Business Facilitation Events
In line with Dubai Chamber’s strategy to support UAE Food Security, Azerbaijan Office annually organizes business facilitation events for Eurasian delegates to Gulfood. Featuring both a business program and B2B meetings and tours, our Gulfood Business Facilitation Events bring together UAE and Eurasian stakeholders to discuss business opportunities and technical aspects of expanding bilateral food trade and investment.
Business Mission to Moldova 2020
Azerbaijan Office accepted an invitation by Moldova Chamber of Commerce & Industry to participate and speak in the annual international business forum. In addition to the Forum, we held meetings and discussions with the leadership of Moldova Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Invest Moldova Agency, Fruit Producers and Exporters Association, and several Moldovan enterprises, aspiring to grow exports to the GCC.
AZPROMO Export Mission to Dubai
Dubai Chamber hosted an official export delegation lead by Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Fund. 27 leading Azerbaijani exporters were hosted at Dubai Chamber Head Office for a discussion of bilateral trade and investment opportunities, followed by b2b meetings organized by Dubai Chamber Business Relations.
Fintech and E-Government Mission to Dubai
In support of Dubai’s innovation agenda, Azerbaijan Office organized a Fintech and E-Gov Business Mission to Dubai alongside GITEX 2019. Prominent digital leaders from leading banks and public institutions met with innovation counterparts in Dubai government and private sector entities, attended GITEX 2019, and explored a range of synergies, investment opportunities, and activities.
Uzbekistan – UAE Joint Economic Commission
Dubai Chamber jointed the official UAE government delegation to participate in the Uzbekistan – UAE Joint Economic Commission session and celebrate flydubai’s inaugural flight to Tashkent.
UAE National Day Reception in Baku
Dubai Chamber traditionally supports the UAE National Day Reception in Azerbaijan by co-sponsoring it together with other UAE partners. The Embassy’s most important events hosts more than 400 public and private sector stakeholders who come together to join in celebration of the most important national holiday.
IV Ukraine Export Forum
We participated and made a presentation on Dubai Business Outlook, as well as held B2B meetings with leading Ukrainian exporters, as part of our mission to the IV Ukraine Export Forum, organized by Ukraine and Kyiv Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
Regional IT Mission to Belarus and Russia
Azerbaijan Office organized an IT Business Mission to Belarus and Russia for delegates from DP World and Dubai Internet City to explore synergies between Dubai, Russian, and Belarusian stakeholders. Delegation visited Moscow and Minsk, met with important public and private entities, and held pitch sessions with Russian and Belarusian start-ups.
