Employment issues affect businesses and employees alike and are constantly evolving to reflect the developing needs of economy, especially with the increased demand of manpower resulted from the expansion of the UAE market.
This half day workshop examines key issues of the UAE Labor Law, highlights the substantial changes and identifies the new requirements in light of the recent developments.

Bill Jefferies
Bill Jefferies is a corporate partner based in the UAE, he has led teams of lawyers working on numerous high-profile deals throughout the GCC, Europe and Southern Asia, particularly in the infrastructure, shipping, real estate, media, manufacturing, and financial services sectors.
Bill has been at the forefront of developing the firm's reputation for advising Middle Eastern clients on the execution, management and exit of high value, complex UK inward investments in the real estate and social infrastructure sectors, often on a Shari'ah compliant basis. He advises clients on corporate structuring and restructuring matters, commercial contracts, and pre-litigation strategy.
Anshul Kalra
Anshul joined the firm's Dubai office recently as an Associate in the International Corporate Team. Anshul is a US qualified lawyer with a broad experience in corporate and commercial laws. He has handled a variety of transactional work, representing the interests of multinational and local companies on complex issues, agreements, and joint ventures.
Anshul has also represented and advised private clients on employment law, real estate matters and commercial disputes.
